Houston Meeting Rooms
The possibilities are endless at the Hyatt Regency Houston. Our downtown Houston meeting facilities are designed to accommodate every type of event, from grand exhibits to intimate boardroom conferences. These beautifully appointed Houston meeting rooms can be set up in just about any style to satisfy your requirements. Located on three floors, our venues feature combinations of large and small rooms.
To ensure the utmost comfort and efficiency, all 31 of our meeting and banquet facilities offer individual controls for heat / air conditioning, sound, music, telephones, multiple electrical / microphone outlets, and 100V single-phase and 220V single-phase electricity. Second Level
Arboretum
The largest space on this level, Arboretum covers 3,400 square feet, with an impressive ceiling height of 12'. This versatile room can be utilized as one large area set for 370 theater-style, or broken into several different salons, with capacity ranging from 28 to 75 guests. Choose to use three sections for a meeting, while hosting breaks or a lunch buffet in the remaining rooms.
Regency Room and Foyer
Select this junior ballroom and adjoining foyer for your grand finale banquet and reception, with capacity to seat 220 for a formal dinner. The Regency Foyer easily accommodates bar stations and hors d'oeuvres for pre-dinner cocktails. Or, welcome guests with a continental breakfast in the foyer before they proceed to the main event inside the Regency Room.
Library
This classically styled boardroom is designed to resemble an elegant English library, complete with built-in bookshelves, polished wood boardroom table and executive leather chairs. Host an executive committee meeting or other VIP gathering in this upscale room for 10.
Winery
Invite 50 of your most important clients to join you for an exclusive cocktail party in this gracious space. Toast to your mutual success with glasses of champagne and delicious hors d'oeuvres served by white-gloved wait staff.
Window Box
Hold an interactive training or other instructional class in this mid-sized meeting room. Choose from various set ups, including classroom for 96 or U-shape for 38.
Third Level
Imperial Ballroom and Foyer
The main focus on this level is the Imperial Ballroom, with its adjoining foyer. The largest of our meeting facilities, the Imperial Ballroom features a grand stage and 22' ceilings set with imported European chandeliers. Dazzle conference attendees with an exciting opening day extravaganza on stage, complete with lighting and special effects. This expansive room can hold up to 2,200 in a theater set up or 900 in a classroom set up. Close a successful convention with a delightful themed banquet, complete with a band on stage and elegant tables set for over 1,300 diners. The ballroom can also be separated into several different rooms, as needed.
Magnolia, Cypress, Mesquite, Redbud, Cottonwood, Dogwood
The ideal setting of these rooms close to the Imperial Ballroom make them just right for a variety of uses. Set up easel boards and markers for brainstorming sessions, plan buffet stations with seating areas for lunch – perhaps with a different theme in each room – or for breakout sessions from the main meeting. Capacities range from 12 to 145, depending upon the set up.
Fourth Level
Live Oak, Willow, Pecan, Ebony, Raintree, Sandalwood, Cedar, Holly, Ponderosa
Comprised of several smaller sized rooms, this level of conference space provides a quieter location for your meetings, away from the buzz of the ballrooms and conventions. Bring in department heads for a budget meeting in a boardroom setting for 20, or introduce a new product in a theater set up for 100. Invite a guest speaker for a luncheon for 90, or host an elegant cocktail party for 125.
Exhibit Hall - Lower Level
Create an entire trade show in this ample space that was specially designed to house a wide array of displays. Floor to ceiling columns throughout the 28,000-square-foot space provide electrical and phone line connections and allow vendors to show off their most high-tech products. A freight ramp and service elevator enable your suppliers to easily bring in all their equipment, whether it is a standard 8'x10' display booth or an entire fleet of automobiles. This expansive venue can accommodate up to 137 8'x10' booths.
